Located in the heart of downtown, this hotel is in close proximity to a variety of excellent restaurants. Guests can enjoy a delicious thin crust pizza at the food court or indulge in a gourmet meal at the main dining room, where the chateaubriand is highly recommended. The luxury king room offers spacious accommodations with a soaking tub in the bathroom. The friendly and accommodating staff ensures a pleasant stay.
The specialized bread tray offered at the main dining room comes at an overpriced cost of $4 and should ideally be included with dinner.

The service and overall experience at Hotel Du Pont were exceptional. The hotel's location in the Kennett Square area was unbeatable. Hotel Du Pont is conveniently close to Winterthur, various antiques shops in Delaware and Pennsylvania, and other Wilmington attractions.

That was great hotel set in great area, very close to Philly airport and Amtrak station 5 minutes away, Rodney Square and the Gift Shop. The room was lovely with updated lamps and available in tasteful decor. We had appetising meals in the property; visited Washington Street Ale House based not far away.
Shame the bathroom was old.
